Texas Water ZonesJoin us for a presentation about Water Captains: Making the Texas Water Planning Process Work for Everyone by Rev. Sam Brannon, Outreach and Engagement Specialist, Texas Interfaith Center for Public Policy/Texas Impact

Thursday, February 12, 2015
6:30pm – 8:30pm
First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Antonio – Fellowship Hall
Gill Road & Beryl Drive (corner of IH-10 West and Loop 410 East)

To get an idea of who will be attending, we are asking those who plan to attend the February 12th presentation, as well as those who cannot attend but who have an interest in this topic, to RSVP at this link: http://goo.gl/zRvc62

This presentation is geared to those who live and work in Texas Water Planning Region L, which includes the following counties: Atascosa, Bexar, Caldwell, Comal, Dewitt, Dimmit, Frio, Goliad, Gonzales, Guadalupe, part of Hays, Karnes, Kendall, La Salle, Medina, Refugio, Uvalde, Victoria, Wilson, and Zavala.

A desired outcome of this presentation is a future workshop about the way that the water planning process works and how citizens can participate in that process. We need diverse participation if we are to have an effective voice in implementing policies about our most precious resource: water. Co-sponsored by the Green Sanctuary Team and San Antonio Interfaith Power & Light.
