Creation and Spirituality: Awakening Passion for the Environment in People of Faith
featuring Dr. William Greenway, Associate Professor of Philosophical Theology, Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary
Tuesday, September 9, 2014, 7‐8:30 pm
St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church
4201 De Zavala Road; San Antonio, TX 78249

As people of faith, regardless of our religion, we are called to be stewards of God’s creation. What does that involve? With the upcoming Encyclical by Pope Francis on caring for creation, this is a timely issue.

The evening begins with a presentation by Dr. Greenway from an open Christian perspective that focuses upon vital aspects of spirituality shared by Jewish, Buddhist, Islamic, Hindu and other great faith traditions. There will be ample time for questions and discussions about how we can take personal action.

This is a stop on Compassionate San Antonio‘s Pilgrimage of Compassion.

Information is also available at the Texas Interfaith Power & Light website.
