Green Book Discussion – Eaarth – Thursday, June 16, 6:30pm

You are invited to join us for a Green Book Discussion Group, which will focus on Bill McKibben’s Eaarth
In preparation for Moving Planet Day (a day to move beyond fossil fuels) on September 24, the Green Book Discussion Group will focus on Bill McKibben’s 2010 book, Eaarth: Making a Life on a Tough New Planet. In our first meeting on Thursday, June 16 we’ll meet for a potluck (cold foods are suggested) at 6:30pm in the kitchen/lounge in the Channing-Murray building at First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Antonio, followed by a discussion about Bill McKibben and his writings, as well as 350.org, which McKibben founded. You need not have read the book for the June 16 gathering. We will discuss the book itself on Thursday, July 14. All are welcome. Contact: Diane Duesterhoeft, dduesterhoeft@gmail.com .
