Everyday Greening

Going through our day with green in mind suggests lots of ways to work it in.  When I was shopping at an HEB not in my neighborhood, I stopped for a bite at lunchtime.  In their lunch area, I saw a big sign that said RECYCLE. A smaller sign told me their wallboard was recycled. Great, but when I finished my quesadilla and water, I looked for a way to obey that big bold sign.  But there was no way to recycle my plastic cup or my paper plate.  A look in the trash bin told me everything was discarded all together.  I should have discussed it right then with the management but I was tired and it was a long way home.  So I missed a chance.  Better next time.
